shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the Great City, which spiritually is called Sodom, and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people, and kindreds, and tongues, and nations, shall see their dead bodies three days and a-half; and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

TIME-the end of the 1260 days-day 2397.

[blocks in formation]

And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwell upon the earth. And after three

days and a-half the Spirit of Life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies beheld them.

MESSIAH'S HARVEST.

XLVIII.

INGATHERING OF THE FIRST

FRUITS.

xiv, 14-16. xiv, 2—5.

And I looked, and behold! a white cloud; and upon the cloud One sat, like unto the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice, to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap; for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud, thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped...... And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder; and I heard the voice of harpers, harping with their harps. And they sang as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no man could learn that song, but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. These are they, which were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are they, which follow the Lamb, whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile-for they are without fault before the throne of God.

XLIX.

INGATHERING OF THE ANTICHRISTIAN VINTAGE TO THE GREAT WINE-PRESS OF THE WRATH OF GOD.

xiv, 17-19.

And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud voice to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great wine-press of the wrath of God.

THE FINAL WARNING TO THE WORLD, AND TO THE CHURCH. THE GATHERING TO ARMAGEDDON.

xvi, 15, 16.

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place, called in the Hebrew tongue, Armageddon.

MESSIAH'S VICTORY OVER THE ANTICHRISTIAN CONFEDERATION FORETOLD.

MESSIAH COMING FORTH FROM HEAVEN TO TREAD THE WINE-PRESS, AND TO SMITE THE NATIONS.

11 xix, -16.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold! a white horse, and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge, and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns, and he had a name written that no man knew but he himself. And he was clothed in a vesture dipped in blood; and his name is called THE WORD OF GOD. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations; and he shall rule them with a rod

of iron. And he treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name writtenKING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. TIME-the day 2400.

MESSIAH'S PROCLAMATION.

THE OPENED BOOK.

x, 1-7.

And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud; and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire. And he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write. And I heard a voice from heaven, saying unto me, Seal up those things, which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer; but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound
