And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold! a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

THE JUDGMENT SET (DAN. vii. 10.) ON ANTICHRIST. PART I. THE THRONES PLACED (DAN. vii, 9. lxx.)

IN HEAVEN, AND CHRIST, AS THE ANCIENT OF DAYS, SEATED-PREPARATORY TO THE JUDGMENT

ON THE BEAST.

iv, 2--6.

And behold, a throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And he that sat, was to look upon, like a jasper and a sardine stone. And there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty thrones, (Gr.) and upon the thrones I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. And out of the throne proceeded lightnings, and thunderings, and voices. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. And before the throne was a sea of glass, like unto crystal.

TIME-immediately successive to that of the deportation of the man child from the presence of the devouring dragon, to the presence and throne of God.

THE JUDGMENT SET ON ANTICHRIST. PART 2. CHRIST, DIVINE MAJESTY, SEATED BETWEEN THE CHERUBIM, THE MANIFESTED GLORY OF ISRAEL, PREPARATORY TO THE JUDGMENT ON THE BEAST.

iv, 6-11.

And in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four living creatures (Gr.) full of eyes before and behind. And the first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature like a calf, and the third living creature had a face as a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. And the four living creatures had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, the four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

SON,"

29 THE BOOKS (DAN. vii, 10.) BEING GIVEN INTO

HIS HAND.

v, 1-7.

And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne, a Book, written within, and on the hinderside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the Book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no one in heaven, nor on earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the Book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and to read the Book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold! the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the Book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld, and lo! in the midst of the throne, and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb, as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came, and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne.

TIME as announced in Section ix. That also, of Messiah's acceptance of the Divine challenge, in Psalm ii, 8.

THE JUDGMENT SET ON ANTICHRIST. PART 4. THE "SON," HONORED BY ALL, ON HIS HAVING JUDGMENT ON THE BEAST COMMITTED TO HIM.

v, 8-14.

And when he had taken the Book, the four living creatures, and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sang a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us unto our God kings and priests; and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne, and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb, for ever and ever. And the four living creatures said, Amen.
