IO And the fons of ftrangers fhall build up thy walls, and their kings fhall minifter unto thee: for in my wrath I fmote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

11 Therefore thy gates fhall be open continually, they shall not be shut day nor night, that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.

12 For the nation and kingdom that will not ferve thee, fhall perish: yea, thofe nations shall be utterly wafted.

13 The glory of Lebanon fhall come unto thee, the firtree, the pine-tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my fanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

14 The fons alfo of them that afflicted thee fhall come bending unto thee; and all they that defpifed thee fhall bow themselves down at the foles of thy feet; and they fhall call thee, The city of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Ifrael.

15 Whereas thou haft been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

16 Thou shalt also fuck the milk of the Gentiles, and fhalt fuck the breast of kings, and thou fhalt know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

17 For brafs I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring filver, and for wood brafs, and for ftones iron: I will alfo make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteoufnefs.

18 Violence fhall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor deftruction within thy borders; but thou fhalt call thy walls falvation, and thy gates praise.

19 The fun fhall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightnefs fhall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord fhall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

20 Thy fun fhall no more go down, neither fhall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord fhall be thine everlafting light, and the days of thy mourning fhall be ended.

21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they fhall

4 For fince the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye feen, O God, befide thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

8 But now, O Lord, thou art our father: we are the clay, and thou our potter, and we all are the work of thy hand,

9 Be not wroth very fore, O Lord, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, fee, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.

10 Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wildernefs, Jerufalem a defolation.

11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burnt up with fire

and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

17 For behold, I create new heavens, and a new earth and the former fhall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

18 But be ye glad, and rejoice for ever in that which I create for behold, I create Jerufalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
