Includes U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Public Health Service hospitals; hospitals located in Canal Zone area; and St. Elizabeths Hospital, Washington, D.C. Includes hospitals operated by State, County and Municipal governments. Transfers for non-VA hospitals are included with admissions and other discharges.
