APPROPRIATION TITLE: Operation and Maintenance, General, FY 1986

3. Multiple Purpose Power Projects

The program request of $48,201,000 for the operation and maintenance of 18 multiple purpose projects,
having a presently planned operation capacity of 1,703,000 kilowatts, provides the amount necessary for operation
requirements. Annual requirements are for the operation and ordinary maintenance of project facilities, labor,
supplies, materials, and parts required for the day-to-day functioning. The requested amount also includes applica-
tion of special recreation use fees for recreation areas and recreation facilities at completed projects.

Explanation of Major Changes

Road repairs, draft tube repairs, and
seepage studies in FY 85; facilities to
meet health and sanitation requirements
in recreation area in FY 86.

Rehabilitation of Unit 8 in FY 85 and 86.
Acquire land and flowage easement in FY 86.
Acquire land and flowage easement in FY 86.
Replace oil circuit breaker parts in FY 85;
additional maintenance required at pub-
lic fee areas in FY 85 and 86.

Powerhouse rehabilitation in FY 84.
