10. DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION Construct a tactical equipment shop with storage building, flammable storehouse, oil-house, dispatch office, grease racks, wash platform, fuel storage and dispensing area, hardstand and supporting facilities. Heating from a self-contained plant. Not sited in a flood plain. Air Conditioning 2 Tons

REQUIREMENT: 650,659 SF Adequate: 211,696 SF Substandard: 287,255 SF PROJECT: Construction of a tactical equipment shop.

REQUIREMENT: This project is required to provide organizational level maintenance facilities for the 101st Chemical Company, the 134th Quartermaster Company and the 196th Transportation Helicopter Company. CURRENT SITUATION: No installation assets are currently assigned to the 101st Chemical Company or the 134th Quartermaster Company. The 196th Transportation Helicopter Company is using one bay in a World War II wood and metal frame mobilization structure assigned to the 269th Aviation Battalion (Combat).

IMPACT IF NOT PROVIDED: No facilities are available for these unit activations. Activation before construction will require these units to be assigned tents or share overcrowded shops assigned to other units which will adversely affect mission accomplishment, readiness posture and troop morale.
