SATURDAY EVENING.

For pardon of the sins of the week.

Renew

O most merciful God, who, according to the multitude of thy mercies, dost so put away the sins of those who truly repent, that thou rememberest them no more, open thine eye of mercy upon us. in us, most loving Father, whatsoever hath this week been decayed by the fraud and malice of the devil, or by our own carnal will and frailness; and, forasmuch as we put our full trust only in thy mercy, impute not our sins unto us; but strengthen us with thy blessed Spirit, that we may walk answerably to our Christian calling and as becometh the children of light; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Visitation of the Sick.

To dwell in heart with Christ above.

Grant, we beseech thee, Almighty God, that like as we do believe thy only-begotten Son our Lord Jesus Christ to have ascended into the heavens; so we may also in heart and mind thither ascend, and with Him continually dwell, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.

[blocks in formation]

O most mighty and gracious God, thy mercy is over all thy works. We bless and glorify thy Name

for thy great goodness to us the week past: and we beseech thee make us truly sensible of thy mercy, and give us hearts always ready to express our thankfulness, not only by words, but also by our lives; that we may serve thee in holiness and righteousness all our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

From Prayers at Sea.

Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost, bless, preserve, and keep us; the Lord mercifully with his favour look upon us; and so fill us with all spiritual benediction and grace, that we may live godly, righteously, and soberly, in this life, and in the world to come, we may have life everlasting. Amen.

Matrimony.
