(576) 1/ House action provided a total of $3,000,000,000 for the entire Economic Opportunity Act including those programs operated by the Departments of Labor and HEW. 2/ The Enrolled Bill resulting from Conference Action includes minimum reservations of $328,900,000 for Local Initiative and $71,500,000 for Legal Services, and mandatory earmarks of $30,000,000 for Emergency Food and $18,000,000 for Alcoholic Counseling. |
