Mr. WILEY, from the Committee on the Judiciary, submitted the

REPORT

[To accompany H. R. 1220)

The Committee on the Judiciary, to whom was referred the bill H. R. 1220) for the relief of James D. Sigler and Frederick P. Vogelang III, having considered the same, do now report the bill to the Senate favorably, without amendment, and recommend that the bill Lo pass.

The purpose of the proposed legislation is to pay the sum of $1,000 o James D. Sigler, and to pay the sum of $1,000 to Frederick P. ogelsang III, both of Baltimore County, Md., in full settlement of Il claims against the United States for personal injuries, hospital nd medical expenses, and property damage sustained as a result of n accident involving a United States Navy vehicle, in Baltimore Founty, Md., on March 4, 1944.

The Committee on the Judiciary, to whom was referred the bill R. 1779) for the relief of the Winona Machine & Foundry Co., orporation of Winona, Minn., having considered the same, do now ort the bill to the Senate favorably, without amendment, and ommend that the bill do pass.

The purpose of the proposed legislation is to authorize the Compler General of the United States to relieve the Winona Machine & ndry Co. of all liability to pay to the United States $7,148.77, ether with interest and any other charges arising out of the teration of contract NOs-74270, dated June 11, 1940.
