Permits payment of pension in lieu of dependency and indemnity compensation in the case of some surviving dependents of veterans who died of a service-connected cause after December 31, 1956. Restores elegibility of remarried widows to pension compensation, dependency, and indemnity compensation, or loan guarantee, when remarriage or remarriages dissolved by death or divorce without fault of the widow. Excludes income from public or private retirement, annuity, endowment, or similar plans in computing income for pension purposes.
