ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF POST GRADUATE SCHOOLS OF INSTRUCTION AT UNITED STATES VETERANS' BUREAU DIAGNOSTIC CENTERS, WASHINGTON, D. C., AND PALO ALTO, CALIF.

JULY 13, 1928. 1. Announcement is made of the establishment of post graduate schools of instruction at United States Veterans' Bureau diagnostic centers, Washington, D. C., and Palo Alto, Calif., effective October 1, 1928.

2. In view of the needs of the service and because of the excellent clinical and teaching facilities, the bureau is establishing post graduate courses of instruction in medicine and surgery at these diagnostic centers, where medical officers of the bureau will receive instruction in diagnosis and treatment.

3. These courses of instruction_will extend over a period of four months and will be continuous, the first course beginning October 1, 1928. Instruction will be in the various branches of medicine and surgery, and for the present, will be limited to five medical officers for each four months' course.

4. Arrangements for the detail of medical officers to attend these courses are now being effected and the field stations will be duly notified well in advance of the date of opening of the schools.

OCTOBER 31, 1928.

1. Announcement is hereby made that the State service officer of the State of New Jersey, with headquarters at Trenton, N. J., has been recognized in the presentation of claims before the United States Veterans' Bureau. 2. The State service officer of the State of New Jersey (who is also the adjutant general) and the assistant State service officer of the State of New Jersey, both with headquarters at Trenton, N. J., are entitled to recognition before any agencies of the United States Veterans' Bureau, in the presentation of claims.

NOVEMBER 2, 1928.

1. Announcement is hereby made that the adjutant general of the State of Wisconsin, at Madison, Wis., has been recognized in the presentation of claims before the United States Veterans' Bureau.

2. The adjutant general, State of Wisconsin, and his assistant, the director of the pension, bonus and rehabilitation division, both with headquarters at Madison, Wis., are entitled to recognition before any agencies of the United States Veterans' Bureau in the presentation of claims.

3. This recognition does not comprehend the United States Veterans' Bureau furnishing the above-named organization with space, clerical assistance or stenographic help in connection with the presentation of claims. FRANK T. HINES, Director.
