About the author (2001)

William H. Huffman, Ph.D., is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and presently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. His lifelong interest in esoteric thought led him to doctoral studies in the history of philosophy, focusing on Platonism, and a concentration on the Renaissance Hermetic tradition. Under the inspiration of Frances Yates and others, he completed a study of Robert Fludd and the End of the Renaissance, published in 1988.
