Some of the loans made by the banks for cooperatives and most of the loans made by the production credit associations are discounted with the Federal intermediate credit banks. Such loans and discounts outstanding on Dec. 31, 1935, amounted to $104,706,382. Therefore, in obtaining the totals in column 8, adjustment is made to avoid duplication.
