Sums received from States, counties, municipalities, and other public authorities for expenses incurred in the maintenance and operation of airport-traffic-control towers may be credited to the appropriation "Salaries and expenses, Civil Aeronautics Administration" (p. 218).

Treasury and Post Office Departments Appropriation Act, 1952:

An amount equal to the difference between the revenues of the Post Office Department and the total of the appropriations to the Post Office Department is appropriated out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated (p. 238).

Public Law 886, approved December 21, 1950 (Eighty-first Congress):

The Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay to the Government of Portugal in full settlement of claims for losses and damages inflicted by United States Armed Forces upon persons and property in the Territory of Macao during World War II in violation of neutral rights, $202,559.52, together with such additional sums as are necessary due to increase in exchange rate or to the accumulation of interest (p. 275).

Public Law 47, approved June 14, 1951:

To amend the Civil Aeronautics Act of 1938, as amended, by adding a new title, Title XIII-War Risk Insurance. All moneys received from premiums, salvage, or other recoveries, and all receipts in connection with this title shall be deposited in a revolving fund in the Treasury of the United States and payments of return premiums, losses, settlements, judgments, and all liabilities incurred by the United States shall be made therefrom (p. 498).

Public Law 48, approved June 15, 1951:

Any sums payable by the Government of India, under the interest terms agreed to between the Government of the United States and the Government of India, on or before January 1, 1957, as interest on the principal of any debt incurred under this Act, and not to exceed a total of $5,000,000, shall, when paid, be placed in a special deposit account in the Treasury of the United States to be available for studies, instruction, technical training, and other educational activities in the United States for students, professors, other academic persons, and technicians who are citizens of India and similar activities in India for citizens of the United States, etc. (p. 385).

Creates in the Treasury a fund to be known as "District of Columbia Public School food services fund" to which shall be credited all revenues and receipts of any nature whatever derived from the operation of food services, said fund to be available for the purchase of food, supplies, and all other services, and expenditures of whatever nature which are necessary for the conduct of the Department of Food Services (p. 378).

Public Law 212, approved October 26, 1951:

To provide for the operation, management, maintenance, and demolition of federally acquired properties acquired for the Independence National Historical Park, any funds received from leasing of said properties, buildings thereon, or space in buildings thereon are made available therefor (p. 512).

Private Law 73, approved May 22, 1951:

The Secretary of the Treasury is directed to pay to John Clarke (1) the amount to which he would have been entitled for unused leave accrued during the period of his employment by the Department of Agriculture if such employ. ment had been authorized by law, and for which he was not compensated upon the termination of such emplloyment and (2) the balance of any salary due him upon his separation from his employment and remaining unpaid (p. 518).

Private Law 235, approved August 30, 1951:

The Secretary of the Treasury is directed to pay to Ruth Alice Crawshaw, the widow of Ralph Everett Crawshaw, a sum equal to the amount which would have been payable to her as death compensation for the period beginning on the date of her original application for such benefits and ending on November 4, 1947, on account of the death of the said Ralph Everett Crawshaw in the naval service of the United States had the award of such compensation been made effective from the date of such original application (p. 519).
