(a) Authority stated in § 3-75.1 is delegated to:

(b) Authority delegated in this section is limited as follows:

(1) No authority is delegated to:

(i) Negotiate purchases or contracts under sections 302 (c) (1), (2), (3), (6), (7), (8), (9), (12), (13) and (14), or to make advance payments under section 305.

(ii) Purchase or contract for administrative supplies, equipment, or services for headquarters offices which are obtained through the Procurement and Supply Management Branch, Division of General Services.

(iii) Make the determinations and decisions specified in section 302 (c) (11) for contracts in excess of $25,000.

§ 3-75.4 Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.

(a) Authority stated in § 3-75.1 is delegated to:

(1) Director.

(2) Deputy Director.

(3) Assistant Director, Management Services.

(4) Chief, Division of Personnel and Administrative Services.

(b) Authority delegated in this section is limited as follows:

(1) No authority is delegated to:

(i) Negotiate purchases under section 302(c) (1), (2), (8), (9), (12), (13), and (14) or to make advance payments under section 305.

(ii) Purchase or contract for administrative supplies, equipment, or services for headquarters offices which are obtained through the Procurement and Supply Management Branch, Division of General Services.

(4) Head, Research Contracts, NIH.

Bureau of Medical Services. Pursuant to authority vested in the Chief, Division of Administrative Services, the officials occupying the following positions in the Area Offices of the Division of Indian Health, Bureau of Medical Services, are authorized to negotiate and award contracts for architectural and engineering services for bridges, roads, sidewalks, sewers, mains, or other similar items, regardless of construction costs, and for any public building or public improvement when the construction cost is estimated to be less than $200,000; and to advertise and award contracts for construction of Indian health sanitation facilities pursuant to Public Law 86-121; and to advertise and award contracts for construction of Indian health facilities (other than contracts for construction of Indian health sanitation facilities pursuant to Public Law 86-121) when the construction cost is less than $200,000:

Medical Officer in Charge.

Deputy and/or Assistant Medical Officer in
Charge.

Executive or Administrative Officer.
General Services Officer.

§ 3-75.7 Social Security Administration. (a) Authority stated in § 3-75.1 (except as to section 302 (c) (11)) is delegated to:

(b) Authority delegated in this section is limited as follows:

(1) No authority is delegated to:

(ii) Purchase or contract for administrative supplies, equipment, or services for headquarters offices which are obtained through the Procurement and Supply Management Branch, Division of General Services.

(c) Authority delegated to the Director of Field Administration may be redelegated in full or in part to officials of the Office of Field Administration. However, such redelegation must be reported immediately to the Office of Administration and shall not be effective until published in the FEDERAL REGISTER.

§ 3-75.9 Office of Administration, Division of General Services.

(a) Authority stated in § 3-75.1 is delegated to:

(1) Director, Division of General Services.

(2) Chief, Procurement and Supply Management Branch.

(3) Chief, Purchase Section.

(4) Assistant Chief, Purchase Section. (5) Purchasing Agents.

(b) Authority delegated in this section is limited as follows:

(1) No authority is delegated to:

(i) The Chief and Assistant Chief, Purchase Section, under section 302(c) (1), (6), (7), (8), (9), (11), (12), (13) and (14). Purchasing Agents' authority is limited to signing of purchase orders not in excess of $5,000.

(ii) Make advance payments under section 305.

(iii) Make determinations an decisions specified in section 302(c) (11) for contracts in excess of $25,000.

§ 3-75.21

Procurement and Supply Management Branch, Division of General Services.

Authority is delegated to the Chief, Procurement and Supply Management Branch, Division of General Services, to make the determinations specified in § 2.406-3 of the Federal Procurement Regulations (41 CFR Part 1-2, 25 F.R. 1665) in connection with mistakes in bids.

(a) Redelegation. This delegation of authority cannot be redelegated.

(b) Approval. Each proposed determination shall be approved by the Office of General Counsel.
