Wizes. c The Woman which hath an Husband,
is bound by the Law to her Husband, fo long as he liveth; but if the Husband be dead, the is looled from the Law of her Husband: So then, if while her Husband liveth the be married to another Mall, she shall be called an Adultesets : But if her Husband be dead, the is free from that Law, so that she is no Adulterefs, tho fhe be married to another Man.
d Let not the Wife depart from her Husband: But, and if the depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her Husband.
e The Woman which hath an Husband that believeth not, if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him: For what knowelt thou, O Wife, whether thou shalt fave thy Hur band?
f Wives, submit your selves unto your own Husbands, as unto the Lord: For the Husband is the Head of the Wife, even as Christ is the Head of the Church. Therefore, as the Church is subject unto Christ, so let the Wives be to, their own Husbands in every thing.

a Let the Wife see that the reverence her Husband.
b Let the Woman learn in Silence, with all Subjection. The Woman is not suffered to teach, nor to usurp Authority over the Man, but to be in Silence : For Adam was first formed, then Eve: And Adam was not deceived, but the Woman, being deceived, was first in the Tranfgression.
c.Ye Wives, be in Subjection to your own Husbands; that if any obey not the Word, they also may, without the Word, be won by the Conversation of the Wives, while they behold your charte Conversation, coupled with Fear.
d For after this manner, in the old time, the holy Women, who trulted in God, were in Subjection unto their own Hulbands; even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him Lord : whose Daughters ye are, as long as ye do well.

. dren to Wrath ; but bring them up in the Nurture and Admonition of the Lord; having thein in subjection, with all Gravity.
b The Words which God hath commanded you, ye Mall lay up in your Heart; and ye shall teach them diligently unto your Children: And ye Thall command your Children, and your Houshold after you, to keep the Way of the Lord, to do Justice, and Judgment, and to observe to do all the Words of his Law.
