The requirements shown represent the composite effect of the combined Federal and State statutory provisions pertaining to coverage and other pertinent provisions of State law and regulations, notably those establishing a time lag between the computation date and the effective date and another time lag between the date of coverage and that of chargeability and the lag between base period and benefit year which determines how soon any employee of the new employer can claim benefits.
