This Committee Print is a compilation in one volume of a number of railroad and railroad-related laws within the jurisdiction of and of special interest to the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives. It is prepared for the use and convenience of the members of the Committee.

This edition of the compilation incorporates changes made in the law through the end of the 97th Congress, and will be updated when necessary to reflect significant changes in railroad law.

I wish to express my appreciation to Tim Brown of the Office of the Legislative Counsel of the House of Representatives, who prepared this edition of the compilation. JOHN D. DINGELL, Chairman, Committee on Energy and Commerce.
