RELATION du VOYAGE, par A. de la

About 70 previously inedited species of birds, mammals, and other vertebrata are described in the work, several being types of new or little known genera.

Amongst the invertebrata, the division Mollusca, to which half the plates of the atlas is devoted, is of particular importance by reason of a full treatment of the Pteropod mollusks, a similar comprehensive description of the Hetero poda of Lamarck, and the complete anatomy of the Nudibranchiate Mollusca (Phlebentera).
