We have before us this morning the estimates for flood control in the Department of Agriculture. The justifications are found at page 105 of volume 2, and find this on page 239 of the committee print. you will Including the supplemental appropriation there was available for expenditure in fiscal 1948, $3,000,000. There is before us a budget estimate of $9,000,000 for 1949, or an increase of $6,000,000. SUMMARY OF ESTIMATES At this point in the hearings we will insert the table and information that appear on page 105, volume 2 of the justifications.
