CUSHING HOSPITAL

PARKER HILL AVE.,

BOSTON, MASS.

This hospital is open to all cases of either sex, provided they are not infectious, offensive, or insane.

Patients will be received here for treatment by their own medical attendants, and the resident physician will carry out the instructions of the physician of the patient, or of whatever consultant may be designated.

There is a training school connected with the hospital, the nurses being particularly selected and instructed for the care of private patients, especially of surgical and obstetrical cases.

Nurses from the training school are sent on application wherever their services are required.

The hospital is situated on high ground, overlooking the parkway between Brookline and Boston, and commands fine views of the city and suburbs. The air is pure and free from dust or smoke.

The building is large and commodious, it has been constructed especially for the purposes for which it is used, and has been designed to offer peculiar facilities for the comfort, safety and seclusion of patients.

The extensive views, open grounds and broad verandas make this a very pleasant place for invalids. Many of the private. rooms open on the veranda by long windows, through which a bed or couch can be passed, so that patients who require systematic open air treatment by night and day will here receive particular attention under very advantageous circumstances.

The hospital may be reached via Subway and Huntington Ave., by the Brookline Electric Cars marked "Reservoir"; "Allston via Brookline Village": "Jamaica Plain via S. Huntington Ave."; or by the yellow E. Boston and Brookline Car, via Washington, Boylston, Tremont St. and Roxbury Crossing. Both of these lines of cars run over Huntington Ave. to the foot of Parker Hill Ave. Carriages may be obtained at Roxbury Crossing or at the Brookline Station of B. & A. R. R.

OLGA CUSHING-LEARY, M.D.,
Resident Physician.
