An estimated 250 acres of strip nine would need to be affected and reclaimed to eliminate the DS problems in this 3 - COST - 250 acres z $7,850/2c* - $1,962,800.

This unit price was derived from averaging the costs of completed strip mine projects in this district (see attached list).

DE: Approximately 3,500! of highwalls, some with water-filled pits at their base, lie within 101-30 of township roads and oil well access roads. The highwalle vary from 30'-60' in balakk.

buring a February, 1907 field review of the site approximately 10 vehicles per hour passed through the area. Cars were seen traveling near the highwalls on oil wĝLI access roads. Trash dumping is occuring in several locations. Also, much evidence of dirt bike use can be seen. several homes are located within 1000' of the Highwalls.

Concern mong local officials and residents for motorists using the roads near the highwadis prompted then to contact the county commissioners' office, who brought it to the attention of the Division of Reclamation. Concerned officials include the following:
