THE Lord Chamberlain has been pleased to appoint the Reverend James Stanier Clarke (Chaplain of the Household and Librarian to His Royal Highness the Prince Regent) to be one of His Majesty's Chaplains in Ordinary, in the room of the Reverend Thomas Fountain, deceased.

The Lord Chancellor has appointed Matthew Brown, of Huddersfield, in the county of York, Gent. to be a Master Extraordinary in the High Court of Chancery.

The Lord Chancellor has also appointed Thomas Ashton, of Liverpool, in the county of Lancaster, Gent. to be a Master Extraordinary in the High Court of Chancery.

The Lord Chancellor has appointed Thomas Wragg, of Belper, in the county of Derby, Gent. to be a Master Extraordinary in the High Court of Chancery.

HIS Royal Highness the Prince Regent has been pleased, in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty, to grant the dignity of a Baronet of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland unto Lieutenant-General Sir Robert Brownrigg, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander in Chief of the British Settlements in the Island of Ceylon, and Colonel of His Majesty's 9th Regiment of Foot, and to the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten.

HIS Royal Highness the Prince Regent has been pleased, in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty, to grant the dignity of a Baronet of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland to the following Gentlemen, and the respective heirs male of their bodies lawfully begotten, viz.

Sir Chaloner Ogle, Knt. Admiral of the Red Squadron of His Majesty's Fleet.

Banastre Tarleton, Esq. General in the Army, and Colonel of His Majesty's 21st Regiment of Light Dragoons.

His Royal Highness the Prince Regent, acting in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty, has been pleased to nominate and appoint MajorGeneral Sir Hudson Lowe, Knt. Knight of the Imperial Russian Military Order of St. George of the 4th class, and of the Royal Prussian Order of Merit, Lieutenant-General in the island of St. Helena, and Governor of the same for the Honourable the East India Company, to be a Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath.

His Royal Highness the Prince Regent, acting in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty, has been pleased to appoint James Allan Park, Esq. of Lincoln's-Inn, one of His Majesty's Counsel learned in the law, to be one of His Majesty's Justices of the Court of Common Pleas, in the room of Sir Alan Chambre, Knt. who has resigned.

The Lord Bishop of Exeter, as Clerk of the Closet, has, with the approbation of His Royal Highness the Prince Regent, appointed the Reverend James Stanier Clark, B. C. L. and F. R. S.. to be one of the Deputy Clerks of the King's Closet.
