The Revised Statutes, and the laws passed since which modify or add to them, are printed in full, and embraced in the same index with the Regulations. 2. The Secretary of War, upon an opinion of the Judge Advocate General, directed that the codification should include all orders published since the date of the act authorizing the codification. This codification includes, therefore, General Orders, No. 20, of February 15, 1881. The work of codification was confided to the Adjutant General of the Army. 3.
