DEAR MR. DAWSON: In compliance with your request, I herewith submit an inventory of personal property of the House of Representatives. This statement reflects the specific number of items in various classifications as well as the actual or approximate cost of a class of items, as nearly as possible obtainable, to the date of June 30, 1960. This inventory is classified in nine categories identified as schedules A through I, inclusive, with totals as follows:

A. Furniture and carpet and drapes

B. Supplies and material (for construction and repair of furniture, drapes, venetian blinds and rugs, etc.)-

C. Machinery, tools, and accessories (for repair shops).

D. Cleaning and other supplies (for committees and offices in the
Capitol)

E. Manual typewriters.

F. Electrical and mechanical equipment.

G. Stationery room stock.

H. Recording studios.

I. Miscellaneous equipment.
