DEAR MR. CHAIRMAN: In accordance with your request of March 1, 1971, I am submitting the acquisition cost of personal property of the U.S. courts of appeals, U.S. district courts, U.S. Customs Court, and the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, located within the 50 States of the United States and the several territories, which was acquired through the expenditure of appropriated funds. This report was compiled as of June 30, 1970. The various categories of property and the costs thereof are as follows:
