11. REQUIREMENT: 29,847 SF PROJECT: Construct a new Army Aviation Support Facility to include a Hangar, Allied Trade Shop and Special Support Areas for the Army Aircraft assigned to the MOARNG.

REQUIREMENT: This new facility is required in order to provide adequate and safe facilities for maintenance and operation of assigned aircraft. CURRENT SITUATION: The units assigned to Jefferson City, currently are using a leased, 15,000 SF hangar. The existing facility does not have adequate allied trades shops space, either in size or configuration, and operations areas are extremely limited.

IMPACT IF NOT PROVIDED: This Army Aviation Support Facility is in dire need of proper training space. The continued use of the existing leased space will continue to hamper this facilities mission.
