With only a few exceptions, it is quite difficult to ascertain, with the means at command, anything like a full and accurate family history of the inmates of this Institution. If the feeble-mindedness result from heredity, it is with great reluctance that parents or other relatives will answer questions calculated to trace this antecedent family defect. Table No. 5 and the next two tables following will give some idea of some of the probable causes of feeble-mindedness of inmates of this Colony. TABLE NO. 7.
