DURING the last thirty years, it has been my privilege to have access to the works of many honoured authors. Extracts from these have been collected, especially of such as, by God's blessing, were productive of personal profit. These, with other pieces, I have been induced to print in large type, in the hope that they may not only be of increased advantage to myself, but also prove a source of spiritual refreshing to others, especially the aged. Some of the pieces will be found suitable for "Family for "Family Readings."
