Lübeck, 1470) 66 A very beautiful copy of a work in the Low Saxon dialect, unknown to most bibliographers. Hain cites a copy, wanting, as he states the two leaves of table; but which also wanted the Register that is to be found in this copy (misplaced between ff. 402-3), and the existence of which he was not aware of. He attributes the work to the concluding portion of the fifteenth century; but it is considered to be nearly thirty years earlier. This enormous volume, filled with very curious wood-engravings, is, without contradiction, one of the most interesting monuments of Ancient German typography. 1087 PASSIONAEL.
