United States-Venezuela

The International Commission provided for under the terms of the Treaty for the Advancement of Peace between the United States and Venezuela, signed March 21, 1914 (Treaty Series No. 652; 42 Stat., pt. 2, 1920), is constituted at present as follows:

American Commissioners:

National: Charles C. Hyde, of New York
Nonnational: Lord Rennell of Rodd, of Great Britain

Venezuelan Commissioners:

National: Pedro Miguel Reyes

Nonnational: Gaston Jèze, of France

Joint Commissioner:

Bolivia

Constantin Argetoianu, of Rumania

PERMANENT COURT OF ARBITRATION 1

The Secretary General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration informed the Secretary of State by a letter dated April 27, 1939, that the Bolivian Government has renewed the term of Eliodoro Villazón as a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration.

Haiti

The Secretary General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration informed the Secretary of State by a letter dated April 24, 1939, that the Haitian Government has appointed Constantin Fouchard as a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration to replace Emmanuel Ethéart, deceased.

Norway

The Secretary General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration informed the Secretary of State by a letter dated April 17, 1939, that the Norwegian Government has appointed Andreas T. Urbye as a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration to replace Paul Benjamin Vogt, whose mandate has expired.
