Rumania

With a despatch dated March 14, 1937, the American Chargé d'Affaires at Bucharest transmitted to the Secretary of State a copy of the Monitorul Oficial (no. 60) of March 13, 1937, which publishes the law of ratification by Rumania, dated March 8, 1937, of the convention for the unification of certain rules relating to the immunities of government vessels, signed at Brussels April 10, 1926, and the supplementary protocol thereto signed May 24, 1934. AGREEMENT RELATING TO A UNIFORM SYSTEM OF MARITIME BUOYAGE, AND RULES ANNEXED THERETO 8 Great Britain

According to a circular letter from the League of Nations dated April 12, 1937, the agreement relating to a uniform system of maritime buoyage and rules annexed thereto, which was opened for signature at Geneva on May 13, 1936, was signed by Great Britain on April 5, 1937, with the following reservation:

"In signing the present agreement, subject to ratification, I declare that its acceptance by the Government of the United Kingdom will be conditional on its acceptance or on its application by Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden."

CONVENTION ON THE REGULATION OF AUTOMOTIVE TRAFFIC 9

The Director General of the Pan American Union informed the Secretary of State by a letter dated April 7, 1937, that the instrument of ratification by Peru of the convention on the regulation of automotive traffic, signed at Washington on October 6, 1930, was deposited with the Union on March 25, 1937.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND LITHUANIA FOR THE RECIPROCAL WAIVER OF PASSPORT VISA FEES FOR NONIMMIGRANTS

An agreement has been concluded between the United States and Lithuania, effective May 1, 1937, providing for the reciprocal waiver of fees for passport visas and of fees for applications for passport visas for nonimmigrants for citizens of Lithuania traveling to the United States, its territories and possessions, including the Philippine Islands, and for nationals of the United States, including citizens of the Philippine Islands, traveling to Lithuania.
