We further recommend that his action in directing the Grand Recorder to issue new rituals to Bay City Council No. 53, and Flint Council, No. 56, be approved. All of which is respectfully submitted. LOU B. WINDSOR, CHARLES COTTRELL, Committee. Companion Winsor also made a further report from that Committee upon the Grand Council of Texas which was also adopted: To the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of the State of Michigan: Your Committee on Jurisprudence to whom was referred the special report of the Committee on Correspondence relative to the recognition of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of the State of Texas would respectfully report that the matter has received their careful attention and consideration, and we are satisfied that the members of the Cryptic Rite of Texas have taken all of the necessary steps to establish a legal Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters. That the history of their Grand Council in merging for a time with the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of that Grand Jurisdiction is similar to the history of the Grand Councils of Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin. In each of those Grand Jurisdictions the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters have merged with their Grand Chapters of Royal Arch Masons and afterwards reorganized as Grand Councils, and in each instance they have been recognized by this Grand Council. We therefore have no hesitancy in recommending that the recommendation of the Committee on Correspondence, that the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Texas be recognized, be adopted and the Most Illustrious Grand Master of this Grand Council be authorized and empowered to arrange for an exchange of Grand Representatives. All of which is respectfully submitted. LOU B. WINSOR, CHARLES COTTRELL, FRED W. BLAKE, Committee on Jurisprudence. Obituaries.
