The library is open from 9 A. M. to 9 P. M. daily (except Sundays, and Washington's Birthday, Patriots' Day, Memorial Day, Seventeenth of June, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas).

The library is free. Residents of Brookline over twelve years of age may take out books.
