[The number of pupils in this Institution is 280. In the intellectual department there are fifteen professors and teachers, and a professor of drawing. In the domestic department there are an attending and consulting physician, a steward, a matron and an assistant matron. In the mechanical department five trades are taught, viz: cabinet making, shoemaking, tailoring, book-binding and gardening, and wood engraving to a select number.]
