JENNINGS: We are pleased to submit the enclosed report entitled "Activities of the House Committee on Government Operations, 93d Congress, First and Second Sessions." The report follows the committee's past practice of publishing yearly its activities report as an interim report at the end of each first session of a Congress and as a separate final report at the end of a full Congress. The present report includes matter required by Rule XI, 29 (a) and (b) to be reported to the House not later than January 2, 1975, on the activities of the committee in carrying out its duty under the rule to "review and study, on a continuing basis, the application, administration, and execution" of laws whose subject matter is within the jurisdiction of the committee. Accordingly, we submit the enclosed as incorporating our report in compliance with the above rule. We invite attention to Part Two, II. "Legislation," particularly to item II.B.
