1 Reduction of Budget estimates by substitution of reappropriation of unexpended balances in lieu of Budget estimates of direct appropriations were made as follows: Department of Agriculture, $100,000,000; military, $517,850; Navy Department, $10,000,000; in all, $110,517,850. This sum deducted from the gross decrease in Budget estimates of $230,343,196.01 brings the net reduction in Budget estimates for the fiscal year 1938 to $119,825,346.01.
