HOUSING CORPORATION.

For officers, clerks, and other employees in the District of Columbia necessary to collect and account for the receipts from the sale of properties and the receipts from the operation of unsold properties of the United States Housing Corporation, the Bureau of Industrial Housing and Transportation, property commandeered by the United States, through the Secretary of the Department of Labor, and to collect the amounts advanced to transportation facilities and others: Provided, That no person shall be employed hereunder at a rate of compensation exceeding $5.000 per annum, and only one person may be employed at that rate (acts May 16, 1918, vol. 40, p. 550, sec. 1; June 4, 1918, vol. 40, p. 595, sec. 1; July 11, 1919, vol. 41, p. 55, sec. 1; June 5, 1920, vol. 41, p. 937, sec. 1; Mar. 4, 1921, vol. 41, pp. 1425, 1426, sec. 1).
