FOREWORD

This Committee Print contains summaries and texts of bills dealing with emergency labor disputes which were pending before the Senate Committee on Labor and Public Welfare as of Feburary 29, 1972. In addition, a copy and summary of H.R. 11281, which has been under active consideration in the House Interstate and Foreign Commerce Committee, are included.

A chart comparing major provisions of the bills appears as an appendix to this Print. Also contained as appendices are pertinent portions of the Labor-Management Relations (Taft-Hartley) Act and the Railway Labor Act.
