Their perfeverance muft command general refpect, and will, I truft, conquer every difficulty in fo found a caufe. As to myfelf, I am still ready to enter into the ftrictest and most unequivocal union with any public man or public body of men, who may be deemed, in point of national weight and opinion, competent to the effecting thofe important ends. Words cannot exprefs how much I am alarmed at the public fituation at home and abroad; or my apprehenfions for what may be the refult. The The following authentic Extracts from the Corn-Regifter, are take from accounts collected from the Cuftom-house books, and delivered to Mr. John James Catherwood, by authority of Parliament. An account of the quantities of all corn and grain exported from and imported into England and Scotland, with the bounties and drawbacks paid, and the duties received thereon, for one year ended the 5th of January, 1783.
