THE JUDGMENT SET ON ANTICHRIST. PART 2. CHRIST, IN DIVINE

MAJESTY,

SEATED BETWEEN THE CHERUBIM, THE MANIFESTED GLORY OF ISRAEL, PREPARATORY TO THE JUDGMENT ON THE BEAST.

iv, 6-11.

And in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four living creatures (Gr.) full of eyes before and behind. And the first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature like a calf, and the third living creature had a face as a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. And the four living creatures had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, the four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. TIME -as announced in the last three Sections.

THE JUDGMENT SET ON ANTICHRIST. PART 3, JUDGMENT ON THE BEAST COMMITTED TO THE

SON," THE BOOKS (DAN. vii, 10.) BEING GIVEN INTO HIS HAND.

v, 1-7.

And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne, a Book, written within, and on the hinderside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the Book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no one in heaven, nor on earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the Book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and to read the Book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold! the Lion of the tribe of Juda's, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the Book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And I bebeld, and lo! in the midst of the throne, and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb, as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came, and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne.

TIME-- as announced in Section ix. That' also, of Messiah's acceptance of the Divine challenge, in Psalm ii, 8.

THE JUDGMENT SET ON ANTICHRIST. PART 4. THE

“SON,” HONORED BY ALL, ON HIS HAVING JUDGMENT ON THE BEAST COMMITTED TO HIM.

V, 8–14. And when he had taken the Book, the four living creatures, and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sang a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation ; and hast made us unto our God kings and priests ; and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne, and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb, for ever and

And the four living creatures said, Amen.

ever.

And the four and twenty elders fell down, and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

TIME-as already announced. That also, of the giving forth of the Divine decree, referred to in Heb. i, 6.-Let all the angels of God worship Him.

THE JUDGMENT SET

ON ANTICHRIST.

PART 5. THE BOOKS OPENED, (DAN. vii, 10.) DISCLOSING, UNDER THE FIRST SEAL, MESSIAH ON THE WHITE HORSE, CROWNED, AND RIDING FORTH TO VICTORY.

vi, 1, 2. And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals ; and I heard (as it were the noise of thunder) one of the four living creatures saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold, a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.

xii, 7-9, 4. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought, and his angels, and prevailed not: neither was their place found any more in heaven, And the

great dragon was cast out, that old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world : he was cast out unto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him....... And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth.

Time—that of the shaking of the heavens,” foretold by Haggai (ii. 6,21,) and by our Lord. (Luke xxi, 26.) That of the casting down of the host of heaven, foretold Dan. viii, 10, at the commencement of the 2400 days immediately anterior to our Lord's next advent.

JOY IN HEAVEN-WOE ON EARTH-CONSEQUENT ON MICHAEL'S (MESSIAH's) VICTORY OVER THE DRAGON.

xii. 10-12 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ : for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God, day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony: and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Time-immediately successive to that announced in the last section. The "great tribulation” foretold, Dan, xii, 1. Mark xiii, 19, 24.
