This pod package was approximately 100 pounds.

If you will run through the next three slides very quickly. [Slides 7, 8, and 9.] The pod is attached to the side of an Atlas missile by brackets.

Mr. RAMEY. Is that classified?

Dr. BARNES. It is not classified.

Here you see the side of an Atlas missile. You see the USAF emblem on the right and a packed pod to the left.

The next two slides will show you a little bit more about where the pod is located. You see also the pod located to the left of the star. The pod is small in comparison with the size of missile, and does not interfere with its aerodynamic characteristics.

Go right ahead, John, and continue showing the slides. The final shot shows the final configuration, and you can barely see the pod just to the left of the star, showing the small size of it.

The next few slides show some of the camera equipment used to record reentry of the test devices at the impact point down range. These cameras are mounted in a C-54 aircraft and are operated by personnel of the Air Force Special Weapons Center. [Slides 10 and 11.]
