CHAPTER 491.

HOUSE BILL No. 980.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the board of trustees of Rocky Creek Consolidated School District of George county, Mississippi, in their discretion, to pay the Lucedale Commercial Company, of Lucedale, George county, Mississippi, not exceeding the sum of $33.65 for incidental school supplies furnished said school during the 1921-1922 and 1922-1923 school term.

Rocky Creek Consolidated School District may pay claim of Lucedale Commercial Company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That the board of trustees of the Rocky Creek Consolidated School District, of George county, Mississippi, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to pay the Lucedale Commercial Company of the town of Lucedale, George county, Mississippi, upon itemized statement, an amount not exceeding $33.65 for incidental school supplies furnished the said school by the said Lucedale Commercial Company during the 19211922 and 1922-1923 school terms in said county. Said amount to be paid out of the schools funds of said school district.

Sec. 2. That this act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 492.

SENATE BILL No. 486.

AN ACT authorizing the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, in their discretion, to transfer from maintenance funds of Freeman Consolidated School District to the sinking and interest funds of said district the sum of $133.01.

Greene county may transfer money from maintenance fund Freeman Consolidated School District to sinking fund.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State Mississippi, That the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, be and it is hereby authorized in its discretion to transfer from the maintenance funds of Freeman Consolidated School District to the sinking and interest funds of said district the sum of $133.01.

Sec. 2. That this act take effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 493.

HOUSE BILL No. 785.

AN ACT authorizing the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, on approval of road commissioners of district No. 3 of said county, in their discretion, to pay to Sheppard Brewer a sum not exceeding one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) for damage to horse by a falling stump blown up by dynamite used by road crew on public road of said district of said county.

Greene county may pay Sheppard Brewer for damage to horse.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State ' Mississippi, That the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, be and the same is hereby authorized and empowered in its discretion, on approval and recommendation of the road commissioners of district No. 3 of said county, to pay to Sheppard Brewer, a sum of money not exceeding one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) out of funds of road district No. 3 of said county, to reimburse him for damage to horse caused by a falling stump blown up by dynamite used by road crew in blasting stumps on a public road of district No. 3 of said county.

Sec. 2. That this act take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 494.

HOUSE BILL NO. 203.

AN ACT authorizing the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, in its discretion, to pay J. C. Brewer out of any funds in the general county school fund not otherwise appropriated, a sum not to exceed sixty dollars ($60.00).

Greene county may pay J. C. Brewer for teaching.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, be and it is hereby authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to pay out of the general school fund of said county, not otherwise appropriated, a sum not to exceed sixty dollars ($60.00) to J. C. Brewer for teaching the fourth month, of the 1921-1922 term of the Washington Public School of said county, for which the said J. C. Brewer has never been compensated.

Sec. 2.

That this act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

HOUSE BILL No. 623.

AN ACT authorizing the board of supervisors of Greene county, in their discretion, to pay V. E. Williams the sum of forty dollars ($40.00) for teaching the Long Branch School sixth month of winter term 1921-1922 for which he has not been compensated.

Greene county to pay V. E. Williams for teaching.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That the board of supervisors of Greene county be and they are hereby authorized and empowered in their discretion to pay V. E. Williams the sum of forty dollars ($40.00) out of the common school fund of Greene county for teaching the sixth month of winter term 1921-1922 at the Long Branch School, for which he has not been compensated.

Sec. 2. That this act take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 496.

HOUSE BILL No. 624.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, in their discretion, to pay Lydia Vise out of the common school fund of said county the sum of ninety dollars ($90.00) for services rendered as a teacher in the Highland Farm School of said county for the fifth and sixth months of the 1921-1922 school term. Greene county to pay Lydia Vise for teaching.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered in their discretion, to pay Lydia Vise the sum of ninety dollars ($90.00) for services rendered as a teacher in the Highland Farm School of said county, for the fifth and sixth months of the 1921-1922 school term; said amount to be paid out of the common school fund of said county.

Sec. 2. That this act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

HOUSE BILL No. 625.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, to pay Mellie Eubanks the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) for services rendered as a teacher in the Highland Farm School for the fifth and sixth months of the 1921-1922 school term in said county, and the fifth winter month in the Brushy Creek School of the 1920-1921 school term in said county.

Greene county may pay Mellie Eubanks for teaching.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to pay, in their discretion, Mellie Eubanks out of the common school fund of said county the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) for services rendered as teacher in the Highland Farm School of said county for the fifth and sixth months of the 1921-1922 school term, and as a teacher in the Brushy Creek School of said county for the sixth month of the 1920-1921 school term.

Sec. 2. That this act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 498.

HOUSE BILL No. 692.

AN ACT authorizing the board of trustees of Pleasant Hill Consolidated School, Greene county, Mississippi, in their discretion, to pay to H. N. Breland the sum of one hundred and fifty one dollars ($151.00) for transporting pupils of said school district during the first and sixth months of term 1921 and 1922, for which services he has not been compensated.

Greene county may pay H. N. Breland for transporting pupils.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That the board of trustees of Pleasant Hill Consolidated School, Greene county, Mississippi, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to pay H. N. Breland, out of the funds of said consolidated school district, the sum of one hundred and fifty-one dollars ($151.00) for transporting children of said school district during the first and sixth months of the winter term 1921-1922, for which services he has not been compensated.

Sec. 2. That this act take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 499.

HOUSE BILL No. 693.

AN ACT authorizing and empowering the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, in its discretion, to transfer to the maintenance fund of the Agricultural High School of Greene county, Mississippi, not exceeding five thousand dollars for the purpose of taking up a deficit in the maintenance of said school for the scholastic years 1922 and 1923. Greene county may transfer to maintenance fund of the Agricultural High School from the general fund.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That the board of supervisors of Greene county, Missisippi, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to transfer from the general county fund of Greene county, Mississippi, to the maintenance fund of the Agricultural High School of Greene county, Mississippi, a sum not exceeding five thousand dollars for the purpose of taking care of the deficit in said school for the scholastic years 1922 and 1923.

Sec. 2. That this act take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 500.

HOUSE BILL No. 674.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, to pay to Lydia Vise out of the common school fund of said county not exceeding the sum of forty-five dollars for teaching the third month of the year 1921-1922 school term in the Highland Farm School of said county.

Greene county may pay Lydia Vise for teaching.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That the board of supervisors of Greene county, Mississippi, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to pay Lydia Vise out of the common school fund of said county, not exceeding the sum of forty-five dollars ($45.00) for services rendered as a teacher in the Highland Farm Public School of said county for teaching the third month of the 19211922 school term in said county.

Sec, 2. That this act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
