SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS REQUESTED FOR FISCAL YEAR 1987 FOR INCREASED PAY COSTS Gross Cost, Absorptions, Supplemental Appropriations Requested The gross cost of mandatory pay increases required by law to be paid to employees of the Architect of the Capitol and the Botanic Garden in the fiscal year 1987 totals $1,546,200. It is proposed to absorb $374,200 or 24% of this total cost, resulting in a request for Supplemental Pay Appropriations for the fiscal year 1987 in the total amount of $1,172,000.
