General Services Administration

Real property no longer needed by any agency of the Federal Government to perform its functions is sold to the public on a competitive basis to the highest acceptable bidder, either by sealed bid or public auction.

Nearly every type of property sold on the commercial marketresidences, residential lots, factories, office buildings, warehouses, developed and undeveloped land.

Scheduled sales of real property are listed daily in the "Commerce Business Daily". (See page 45). Also widely publicized through paid advertisment and announcements.

(Disposal may also be arranged by exchange for privately owned land.)

Liaison between employers and labor organizations to formulate apprenticeship programs.

Application for an apprenticeship may be made directly to an employer, to the local labor union in the trade, to a local joint apprenticeship committee, or to the local State Employment Service office.
