The Committee on the Grand Master's Address presented the following report, which was accepted and the recommendations adopted :
BALTIMORE, November 12, 1902.
GRAND COUNCIL ROYAL AND SELECT Masters of MARYLAND.
The Committee on the Grand Master's Address concur in the expressions of sorrow and sympathy upon the deaths of distinguished Companions in our own and other Jurisdictions. We recommend that a page in our proceedings be dedicated to the memory of our beloved Companion, George L. McCanan, Past Grand Master.
We heartily concur in the Grand Master's recommendation for the annual printing of our proceedings, and recommend that this plan be at once inaugurated.
It is a pleasure to learn that no question of discipline or Masonic law has arisen during the year.
The Grand Lecturer's report of the general improvement and increased interest in the Subordinate Councils is a gratifying exhibit and constitutes an agreeable addition to the Grand Master's Address.
We recommend the approval of the Grand Representatives appointed by the Grand Master, and that those appointed by other Jurisdictions to our own be received and acknowledged as such.
In lieu of Resolutions for the purpose, we propose the adoption of the various recommendations contained in this Report.
JOHN M. CARTER, THOMAS L. MATTHEWS, JOHN B. OLDERSHAW.
