United States Senate July 28, 1977 Mr. Robert A. Malstrom Financial Clerk United States Senate Dear Bob: With regard to the fiscal year 1979 budget for the opnoorado Ro Low Commg Fre and the Majority Conference, Senator Byrd has indicated to me that the estimated amount should be the same as the 1978 amount plus an additional ten percent, with the understanding, of course, that this figure is not in any way binding. Sincerely, Beth Elizabeth 0. Shotwell As I understand it, our FY 78 budget of $626,750.00 will be increased by approximately $40,000.00 to reflect the 7.5% pay raise in October. That increase, plus my estimates for salary and operational increases, would bring my approximation to $725,500.00. If you have any questions, I would be pleased to discuss them with you.
