Mr. TABER. How many of these real old ships that have been around probably would not have been operated except for the war activity, have been lost, and for which substantial insurance has been collected?

Admiral LAND. I have not got that in that category, but I can get it for you. I would not say real old ships; that is an indefinite basis.

Mr. TABER. Yes; but that is pretty descriptive.

Admiral LAND. The list is here, but they are not broken down under real old ships or otherwise.

Mr. Taber. How many ships were lost?
