Funds to assist enterprises affected by the botulism outbreak in the Great Lakes region were appropriated for 1965 under this disaster authority to the "Management and investigations of resources" account. Requests for assistance in case of future disasters will be made under the "Federal aid for commercial fisheries research and development" account. 1. Aid to States. States are reimbursed up to 75% of the cost of approved commercial fisheries research and development projects, within their respective apportionment of funds appropriated for such purposes. Projects are approved by the Secretary of the Interior under standards of merit and priority established by him. 2.
