CHAPTER I.

HOUSE BILL No 203.

AN ACT to appropriate money to defray the expenses of the legislative, executive and judicial departments of the State Government, and to pay the interest on the State debt.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That the following sums of money, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be, and the same hereby, appropriated out of any money in the State treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the legislative, executive and judicial departments of the State government, and to pay the interest on State debt.

LAND COMMISSIONER

And the sum of four hundred dollars ($400.00)
or so much thereof as may be necessary, for
each of the years 1914 and 1915, is hereby ap-
propriated out of any money in the State
treasury not otherwise appropriated, to defray
the actual and necessary expenses of the Land
Commissioner in looking after lands belonging
to the State and preventing trespasses and
depredations thereon, and in transcribing such
records of his office as, in his judgment, need
or require transcribing. Said expenses to be
paid out upon itemized statements, approved
by the governor and filed with the auditor,
